THE INTERNATIONAL ONLINE TRAINING COURSE

IN METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING HEBREW

 

On 13-16 July 2020, online training course in methodology of teaching Hebrew for teachers, educators and scholars took place.

The organizers of the course were:

Mickey Katzburg, the executive director at World Center for Jewish Education (Israel,   Jerusalem);

Nataliia Bakulina, PhD in Education, a senior associate of the department of teaching languages of national minorities and foreign literature of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the director of the Center of Jewish Education of Ukraine.

The course was conducted by: Meirav Kravets, the leading methodologist of the World Center for Jewish Education (Israel, Jerusalem – the USA, Florida).

The aim of the course was improving proficiency level of the teachers of Hebrew, acquiring contemporary tools and methodologies for further conducting of the process of long-distance learning and/ or mixed mode of teaching Hebrew.

The course was conducted in the form of a series of online master-classes.

 The Participants /Members of the course were teachers of Hebrew of the establishments of comprehensive secondary education of Ukraine (Kyiv, Chernivtsi), a professor of Hebrew of the V.I.Vernadskiy Tavrian National University, a senior research associate of the department of teaching languages of national minorities and foreign literature of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the director of the Center for Jewish Education of Ukraine, in particular:

Olga Scherbak, the teacher of Hebrew of the municipal educational institution «The Chernivtsi  specialized school ORT Of the 1st-3rd stages of education №41 with advanced studying of the Jewish ethnic and cultural component» (Ukraine, Chernivtsi);

            Alina Saffra, the teacher of Hebrew municipal educational establishment «The Chernivtsi  specialized school ORT Of the 1st-3rd stages of education №41 with advanced studying of the Jewish ethnic and cultural component» (Ukraine, Chernivtsi);

Yana Ryaba, the teacher of Hebrew of the municipal educational institution «The Chernivtsi  specialized school ORT Of the 1st-3rd stages of education №41 with advanced studying of the Jewish ethnic and cultural component» (Ukraine,   Chernivtsi);

Marina Oleksenko, the teacher of Hebrew of the municipal educational institution «Education complex № 141 «ORT» («Education resources and technology training of Kyiv») (Ukraine, Kyiv);

Maria Sira, the teacher of Hebrew Of the municipal educational institution  «Education complex № 141 «ORT» («Education resources and technology training of Kyiv») (Ukraine, Kyiv);

Olga Yakovleva, professor of Hebrew of V.I.Vernadskiy Tavrian National University (Ukraine, Kyiv);

Natalia Bakulina, PhD in Education, a senior research associate of the department of teaching languages of national minorities and foreign literature of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the director of the Сentre for Jewish Education of Ukraine.

As a result of long-distance learning the educators acquired new knowledge and enhanced the level of professional competences in the sphere of methodology of teaching Hebrew, in particular, they:

• got acquainted with new asynchronic instruments and platforms of long-distance and / or mixed modes or learning,
• mastered various methodologies of conducting vocabulary work, teaching various kinds of speaking activity (listening, reading, speaking, writing), development of language skills in the course of long-distance and/ or mixed mode of learning;
• discussed the forms of work for mastering new vocabulary at various stages of learning in accordance with the level of mastering Hebrew and age specificities of the students;
•  received methodological guidelines concerning working with various texts of different genres and styles, learned how to build the system of work with them for improving communicative competence of the students,
• Exchanged experience with colleagues from other countries of the world and even from other continents!

Analysis of feedback questionnaires demonstrated the high level of appreciation of the conducted course and revealed the interest to the range of topics and participation in further educational events in advanced training in methodology of teaching Hebrew.

On completing the given training course the educators will receive certificates of advanced training which will give them an opportunity to further undergo attestation and upon request certification in their major.

МІЖНАРОДНИЙ ОСВІТНІЙ ОНЛАЙН КУРС З МЕТОДИКИ ВИКЛАДАННЯ МОВИ ІВРИТ

 

13-16 липня 2020 року відбувся освітній онлайн курс з методики викладання мови іврит для вчителів, викладачів і науковців.

Організатори курсу:

Мікі Кацбург, директор Всесвітнього центру єврейської освіти (Ізраїль, м. Єрусалим);

Наталія Бакуліна, к.пед.наук, директор Центру єврейської освіти України, старший науковий співробітник відділу навчання мов національних меншин та зарубіжної літератури Інституту педагогіки НАПН України.

Курс проводила: Мейрав Кравець, провідний методист Всесвітнього центру єврейської освіти (Ізраїль, м. Єрусалим – США, м. Флорида).

Мета курсу: підвищення фахової кваліфікації вчителів мови іврит, отримання сучасних інструментів і методик для подальшого здійснення процесу дистанційного та/або змішаного навчання мови іврит.

Курс проходив у формі серії онлайн майстер-класів.

Учасники курсу: вчителі мови іврит закладів загальної середньої освіти України (м. Київ, м. Чернівці), викладач мови іврит Таврійського національного університету імені В. І. Вернадського, старший науковий співробітник відділу навчання мов національних меншин і зарубіжної літератури Інституту педагогіки Національної академії педагогічних наук України, директор Центру єврейської освіти України, а саме:

У результаті дистанційного навчання освітяни набули нових знань і підвищили рівень професіональних компетентностей у сфері методики викладання мови іврит, зокрема:

• познайомилися з новими асинхронними інструментами та платформами дистанційного та / або змішаного навчання,
• опановували різноманітні методики для здійснення словникової роботи, навчання різним видам мовленнєвої діяльності (аудіювання, читання, говоріння, письма), розвитку мовних навичок у ході дистанційного та/або змішаного навчання;
• обговорювали форми роботи для засвоєння нової лексики на різних етапах навчання відповідно до рівня володіння мовою іврит і віковими особливостями учнів;
•  отримали методичні рекомендації щодо роботи з текстами різних жанрів і стилів, вчилися будувати систему роботи з ними для удосконалення комунікативної компетентності учнів,
• обмінялися досвідом з колегами із інших країн світу, та навіть з інших континентів!

Аналіз анкет зворотного зв’язку продемонстрував високу оцінку прослуханого курсу та виявив зацікавленість до інших тем і участі у подальших освітніх заходах із підвищення кваліфікації з методики навчання мови іврит.

Після проходження даного освітнього курсу освітяни отримали сертифікати про підвищення кваліфікації. Цей документ дозволить у подальшому проходити атестацію та за бажанням сертифікацію з фаху за спеціальністю «теорія та методика викладання» (мова іврит).
